Gregory Brunner

Senior Scientist at Esri

Gregory Brunner is a Scientist at Esri who uses maps, apps, and analytics to bring spatial data to life. He has been in the geospatial industry for almost ten years, three of which were spent developing algorithms and analytic capabilities for Sensing Strategies, Inc. and the last six using spatial data to solve problems for Esri and the GIS user community. In addition to pushing pixels, programing in Python, or discussing the Science of Where for Esri, he teaches programming for GIS and remote sensing at St. Louis University’s Center for Sustainability. When not working, he spends time with his wife Elizabeth and three (soon to be four!) children. Gregory has a BS in Physics from Johns Hopkins University and an MS in Physics from Rice University.
