Sarah has a Ph.D. in Biomedical Informatics from Stanford University. She was advised by Serafim Batzoglou (Associate Prof. Computer Science) and co-advised by Stuart Kim (Prof. Genetics). Her research interests are in analysis of diverse data, identifying signal from noise in images, sequence and gene expression.

Sarah is interested in applying her technical skills to analyze many types of complex and noisy data in new areas. She enjoys working in teams, learning new skills, solving challenging problems, being exposed to new ideas and meeting new people.
